The Cape Town International Beach Tennis event is the first ITF event to be played in Cape Town. However, more exciting is that the tournament will be played alongside the Davis Cup tie, South Africa vs. Bulgaria on a temporary court at the Kelvin Grove Club.
While it is a Zero based prize money event (for this year), the opportunity exists for local players to be further exposed to beach tennis, have fun and at the same time earn ITF beach tennis ranking points, while being part of a bigger event at the same time.
