Players have arrived in Port Elizabeth and visited a penguin sanctuary – SANCCOB Seabird Rehabilitation Centre ahead of the first leg of the @KiaMotorsSA Summer Slam Beach Tennis Tour taking place at Kings Beach from tomorrow. #KIASummerSlam #BeachTennis

The draw was also conducted which sees a number of SA players in action on Saturday as well as the top seeds later in the day.

While the tournament is a knock out, it has been decided that instead of hosting a consolation event, the draw will be played on a Monrad format which sees players continually playing throughout the tournament for final positions, providing players with more match opportunities and allowing local player a chance to play against overseas competition
