Day 1 Action at KIA Summer Slam in Port Elizabeth

Day 1 of the KIA Summer Slam in Port Elizabeth and of the circuit presented some sizzling beach tennis, with more to come on Sunday, enabling Kings Beach visitors to witness world class action.
If this is what day 1 of the KIA Summer Slam delivered, we are all in for a very entertaining circuit of high quality beach tennis.

In the men’s division the three (3) of the top 4 seeds all made it through to the semi finals, with only the No 3. seeds falling short.

The women’s event being round robin, sees the top two seeds do battle in the final match of the round robin group to determine the championship

(1) Maire Bray (REU) / Nina Djordjevic (SRB) vs. (2) Elodie Naegellen (FRA) / Vanessa Ridolfo (FRA)

Play commences on Sunday at 09:00 with play of matches and the Men’s Semi Final at 09:30.
